Key Script

 

The key script is a script that allows a user-specified script to be executed when the user presses a specific key in the monitoring program.

Select ¡®File|Script|Key Script¡¯ from the main menu, module editor, or reporter editor of the studio to display a dialog box where you can add/delete/copy scripts as shown in Figure 1.

As shown in Figure 1., the key script can be registered in two states: ¡®When Key Pressed¡¯ and ¡®When Key Released¡¯.

The keys that can be used in the key script include F1 ~ F24, numbers 0 ~ 9, letters A ~ Z, and can be used in combination with Ctrl and Shift keys.

When you press the or button in Figure 1, a key selection dialog box like Figure 2 appears. Here, you can add or modify key scripts by pressing the key you want to add or modify.

When you press the button in Figure 1, you can delete the created key script.

When you double-click the script listed in Figure 1 with the left mouse button or press the button, a script editor dialog box like Figure 3 appears.

In Figure 3, you write the key script using editor usage and script writing methods.

When you press the button in Figure 1, you can close the key script screen.
