Vertical Slider Movement

The slider is a feature that allows you to change the set analog input tag value (proportional to the moved position) by clicking and dragging a specific graphic element with the left mouse button.

In the graphic element settings dialog, select the button in the Extended Features tab to open the settings dialog as shown in Figure 1.

Figure 1. Example of the Vertical Slider Movement Settings Dialog

In the Figure 1. settings dialog, use the Tag Editor or button to set the analog input tag associated with the slider and define the movement range and tag change values.

The movement range in the Vertical Slider Movement Settings Dialog is entered as a number (pixels) for the range of movement up and down, relative to the selected graphic element.

Additionally, the tag change values are entered for the tag value at the top end position and the tag value at the bottom end position.

If you check the area in the Tag Change Value section, the minimum (top) and maximum (bottom) values of the tag are set as the tag change values.

Typically, the tag linked to the slider is an analog input memory tag.

Note: The movement range of the slider is based on the current position (relative position) of the graphic element inserted into the graphic module. Enter the range up and down as numbers (pixels). (Not absolute coordinate positions)
