<Figure 1> is read setting example for communicating with output only DPM Meter of SeonKwang System, in Korea.

Com Baud(1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200), Meter Number (Station) and Position of Decimal etc of SKM500 DPM can be changed by setting button of Meter.
Method for read setting
You have only to write the single line of read setting for SKM500 DPM communication driver, as 'READ,'.
Write the value to direct ADDRESS, regardless of SCAN File.
Digital Write
Digital write and analog write have the same setting parameters except output value(0 or 1).
Analog Write
Analog writing sends the analog number value to DPM Meter.
Analog write setting parameters are as follows:
1) PORT Connected PORT number
2) STATION Station(Address) number of DPM Meter. (0 ~ 255).
3) Address Address to be displayed output value.
4) Extra1 The number of displaying letter of equipment.
6 : 6 digits (6 Digit),
4, Except Blank : 4 digits (4 Digit).
5) Extra2 Position of decimal (0 ~ 5). You have to designate the position of decimal, because SKM500 DPM designate the position of decimal by using hardware.
0 : There is no decimal,
1 ~ 5 : Decimal 1 ~ 5 digits.
Write example 1)
PORT : 0 STATION : 1 ADDRESS : 0020 EXTRA1 : Blank EXTRA2 : 1
If you set as above and write 123.4 value, it displays 123.4 at no.1 SKM500 DPM Meter and displays output value at no.20 address of WORD, FLOAT, DWORD. (You have to set no.1 Meter decimal as 1 digit, to display normally)
Write example 2)
PORT : 0 STATION : 2 ADDRESS : 0021 EXTRA1 : Blank EXTRA2 : 2
If you set as above and write -1.23 value, it displays -1.23 at no.2 SKM500 DPM Meter and displays output value at no.21 address of WORD, FLOAT, DWORD. (You have to set no.2 Meter decimal as 2 digits, to display normally)
Write example 3)
PORT : 0 STATION : 3 ADDRESS : 0022 EXTRA1 : 6 EXTRA2 : 4
If you set as above and write 45.6789 value, it displays 45.6789 at no.3 6Digit SKM500 DPM Meter and displays output value at no.22 address of WORD, FLOAT, DWORD. (You have to set no.3 Meter decimal as 4 digits, to display normally)
Communication cable connection between SKM500 DPM Multi Function controller and computer
Connect third R+, fourth R- terminal from left of SKM500 DPM's rear terminal(refer to <Figure 2>) with T+, T- of computer side(485 communication terminal), in order.
SKM500 DPM side Computer side
Third terminal ( R+) from left-------------------------- T+
Fourth terminal ( R-) from left ------------------------- T-
Basic power connection of SKM500 DPM) Connect 24 V DC to first( +24 V ) and second( 0 V ) terminal of Meter rear terminal.

Setting the Meter Address and Com Baud
You can set Meter Address and Com Baud by pressing SKM500 DPM's 2 front control buttons.
