1. Read settings

 

<Figure 1> is read setting example of SEC Standard UPS controller.

Device part of <Figure 1> input Com Port(COM1), Com Baud(19200), Parity Bit(0), Data Bit(8), Stop Bit(1) respectively, according to controller. (In case of using Ethernet, input Connection Type(TCP/IP), IP address of PLC(192.168.1.70), TCP service port(6001), respectively)

Also, you can input whether to use CRC(0 = Not use, 1 = Use, Default : 0) of protocol as 0 or 1, Option part.

But, in case of setting as CRC use(1), send the AP0 command first, before communication.

1) STATION : Don't care.

2) Read Command : Select among AP1, AP2, ATR, MAN, MOD, NOM, SDA, ST1 ~ ST5, STR, UID and VER.

3) Read Start Address : Don't care.

4) Save Start Address for Communication Server : Buf position to save status value which have been read.

5) Read Size : The number of item to read at a time. Fixed according to each read command(Refer to Table 1 ~ Table 16).

2. Writing settings

 

Digital Write

You can change the status value of SEC Standard UPS by using digital write.

Digital write setting parameters are as follows :

PORT    Connected PORT number            0 ~ 255

STATION             Don't care

ADDRESS           Don't care

EXTRA1               Setting command              ATR (Auto Reboot : Refer to <Table 3>),

NOM(Refer to <Table 5> – Write output data to NOM_DATA.???(??? = port no) in SCAN Server Directory of Work Directory, such as in order of <Table 5>),

PSD(Shutdown action : -1 – abort, 0 – immediate, 1 >= - seconds until shutdown),

RWD(Shutdown type : seconds), SDA(Refer to <Table 7>),

STD(Startup after delay : -1 – abort, 0 – immediate, 1 >= - seconds until startup),

TST(Test : -1 – Abort Test, 0 – No Effect, 1 – General Test, 2 – Battery Test, 3 – Deep Test),

UBR(UPS Baud Rate : 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200),

UID(Sets UPS ID String : Max 64 letters, Write UPS ID to UID_DATA.??? (??? = port no) in SCAN Server Directory of Work Directory),

CN1 (Rectifier ON/OFF : 1 = ON, 0 = OFF),

CN2 (Inverter ON/OFF : 1 = ON, 0 = OFF),

CN3 (Static ON/OFF : 1 = ON, 0 = OFF),

AP0 (Command for using CRC check : 1 = In case of AP0 command, CRC is included, 0 = In case of AP0 command, CRC isn't included),

If you set as above and write digital value, you can change(ON/OFF) Auto Reboot status value of SEC Standard UPS.

 

Analog Write

Analog write and digital write have the same settings, but output value is only different.
