Ladder setting for Melsec ethernet communication

Ethernet communication with MELSEC PLC must create TCP/IP ( or UDP/IP ) Ladder routime.

Note) This setting example mainly explains about AJ71E71/A1SJ71E71 communication module.

1. Concept of ethernet communication

<Figure 1> is concept of Melsec ethernet communication.

At <Figure 1>, = fixed buffer, maximum connection of master( computer ) = 8.

2. Setting of ethernet communication module

Setting of ethernet communication module are as follows :

2.1 DIP switch setting

<Figure 2> is DIP switch setting for AJ71E71 ethernet communication.

2.2 Operation mode setting

<Figure 3> is DIP switch setting of operation mode.

( operation mode = always set to ¡®0¡¯ )

3. I/O signal and buffer memory address

<Table 1> is I/O signal between CPU and ethernet module. ( when the ethernet module installed at '0' slot )

<Table 2> is buffer memory address.
