HICM860 for HIMAP communication driver is the driver to communicate with HIMAP power meter of Hyundai Heavy Industries Co,. Ltd. in Korea.
<Figure 1>, <Figure 2> is read setting example of HICM860 for HIMAP communication driver for HICM-PC.
<Figure 1> Read setting example of HICM860 for HIMAP communication driver when using TCP/IP |
Device part of <Figure 1> input Device type(TCP/IP or UDP/IP), IP address of PLC(192.168.1.101), service port of TCP/IP(UDP/IP) protocol ( 4000 : fixed ),respectively, according to setting of controller.
Note) UDP/IP service port of HICM860 controller fixed to 4000.
RS-485 cable between HICM860 and HICM860 when using serial communication, connect 4(+) and 9(-) of Port 3. Also, Port1, Port2, Port4 connect with HIMAP controller.
<Figure 2> Read setting example of HICM860 for HIMAP communication driver when using serial |
Device part of <Figure 1> input Com Port(COM1), Baud Rate(19200), Parity Bit(0), Data Bit(8), Stop Bit(1) respectively according to setting of controller.
In protocol option part, you can set whether to use serial protocol(0 = Ethernet, 1 = serial, Default = 0).
Note) When you communicate with HICM860, you should to downlad the HIMAP address. So, HICM860 for HIMAP communication driver made automatic download routine of station data(read schedule) connected Port1 ~ 4.
HICM860 for HIMAP communication driver read schedule
Read schedule setting parameters are as follows:
1) STATION – Station address of HIMAP.
2) Read Command – Read port number = Port1, Port2, Port3, Port4.
3) Read Start Address – Don't care.
4) Save Start Address for Communication Server – Input Memory Start Address which will store the data from equipment.
5) Read Size – Read size = fixed to 20.
Read schedule example)

You can control HIMAP controller by using write settings.
Digital Write
Digital write setting parameters are as follows:
1) PORT Port no. (0 ~ 255)
2) STATION Station address of HIMAP = 0 ~ 255.
3) ADDRESS Don't care.
4) Extra1 Don't care.
5) Extra2 Don't care.
Write example 1)
Port:0, Station:06, Address:0000, Extra1: , Extra2: 0
The setting parameter shown above is a CB control(On/Off) example of 6 station number HIMAP controller.
Analog Write
Analog write and digital write have the same setting parameters except output value.
Connection of communication cable is as follows.
Connection of communication cable to HICM860
Please connect ethernet cable to LAN1 ~ 2 UTP(RJ45) connector when you using ethernet communication.( refer to <Table 6> )
When you using serial communication, please connect RS-485 cable to Port 3, 4( + ), 9( - ) connector. Also Port1, Port2, Port4 connect to HIMAP controller.
<Figure 5>, <Figure 6> are appearance of HICM860 controller.
