CHINO DB1000/1000F Communication Driver is the driver to communicate with Digital Indicator of CHINO Co., Ltd. in Japan.
<Figure 1> is read setting example of CHINO DB1000/1000F communication driver.

Device part of <Figure 1> input Com Port(COM1), Baud Rate(2400), Parity Bit(2), Data Bit(7), Stop Bit(1) respectively.
CHINO DB1000/1000F controller can set baud rate 75 ~ 9600bps, but parity bit, data bit, stop bit are fixed to 2, 7, 1.
CHINO DB1000/1000F communication driver¡¯s read schedule
Read schedule setting parameters are as follows:
1) STATION – RS-232C : 0, RS-422 : 1~99.
2) Read command – Command( Refer to <Table 1>).
1-1 : Read of Real Data,
1-2 : Read of Execution Parameter,
1-3 : Read of Individual Setting Parameter,
1-8 : Read of Status 1,
1-9 : Read of Status 2.
3) Read Start Address – Parameter type number, ....
1-3 read command = 11 ~ 25, 25 ~ 41 Parameter Type number.
Other read command = Don't care.
4) Save start address for Communication Server – Saving start address of Communication Server.
5) Read Size – Parameter number, ...
1-3 read command = 1 ~ 8 parameter number( Refer to <Table 2> ).
Other read command : Fixed to 1.

When you click Add button or Edit button in dialogue box of <Figure 2>, dialogue box of <Figure 3> is shown.
You can set CHINO DB1000/1000F controller by using write settings.
Bit Write
Bit write and word write have the same setting parameters except output value.
Word Write
Word write setting parameters are as follows:
1) PORT Port no. (0 ~ 255)
2) STATION RS-232C : 0, RS-422 : 1~99.
3) ADDRESS Writing address, contents, ... ( Refer to <Table 4>, <Table 5> ).
4) Extra1 Write command.
2-1 ~ 2-5 : DB Status Transition command, ( Refer to <Talbe 4> )
11-? ~ 25-?, 30-? ~ 41-? : Individual Parameter Setting. ( ? = 1 ~ 8, Refer to <Table 5> )
5) Extra2 Don't care.
Note) In order to write to DB1000/DB1000F controller, you have to 'lock' mode corresponding 'MODE'.

CHINO DB1000/1000F controller can communicate RS-232C and RS-422 mode.

Connection of main power line
Please connect main power line to connector 9, 10, AC 85 ~ 264V 50/60 HZ such as <Figure 6>.

Setting of station number, baud rate and lock mode are as follows.
Setting of station number
You can set CHINO DB1000/1000F controller's station number by front operation button.
1) If you press 'MODE' button, then display 'MODE 0' at screen.
2) Select 'MODE 7' by using 'UP', 'DOWN' button.
3) It will shows 'lock' at screen. If doesn't display 'lock', please unlock the state.
4) Press 'SEL' button 2 times, then shows 'COM NUMBER' and station number.
5) Set the station number by using 'UP', 'DOWN' button.
6) Press 'ENT' button.
7) Press 'MODE' button 2 times and return to basic mode.
Setting of baud rate
You can set CHINO DB1000/1000F controller's baud rate by front operation button.
1) If you press 'MODE' button, then display 'MODE 0' at screen.
2) Select 'MODE 7' by using 'UP', 'DOWN' button.
3) It will shows 'lock' at screen. If doesn't display 'lock', please unlock the state.
4) Press 'SEL' button 1 times, then shows 'BIT RATE' and current baud rate.
5) Set the baud rate to 75 ~ 9600 by using 'UP', 'DOWN' button.
6) Press 'ENT' button.
7) Press 'MODE' button 2 times and return to basic mode.
Setting of lock at setting mode
You can set CHINO DB1000/1000F controller's lock at setting mode by front operation button.
1) If you press 'MODE' button, then display 'MODE 0' at screen.
2) Select the desired 'MODE' number by using 'UP', 'DOWN' button.
3) Please check 'lock' character at the end of right screen.
4) When shows the 'lock' character, press ''RIGHT' button, then blink 'lock' character.
At this state, release 'RIGHT' button and press again ''RIGHT' button.
Then disapears 'lock' character and the setting mode is 'unlock' state.
5) When doesn't show the 'lock' character, press ''RIGHT' button, then blink 'lock' character.
Then apears 'lock' character and the setting mode is 'lock' state.
Note) In order to write to DB1000/DB1000F controller, you have to 'lock' mode corresponding 'MODE'.
